Courier Post Annual price adjustment

Please be advised that due to the rising costs associated within the freight industry, our Courier partner NZ Post will be implementing a price increase, effective 15th October, 2020. The respective increases will be:

  • CourierPost Local and Local Towns Parcel products will increase by $0.40.
  • All other CourierPost products and services will increase by 4.5%.
  • Pace products and services will increase by 4.5%.

This decision was not made lightly by NZPOST, particularly given the impact of Covid-19 and the challenges we know many businesses are facing throughout New Zealand.

We take our commitment to continually improve our service for you seriously and will be making significant investments into our people, technology, products and services to ensure we continue to deliver for you over the current changing alert levels, the upcoming Christmas peak period and into the future.

In anticipation of future parcel volumes, NZPOST is also investing $170 million in our future network. The ground-breaking at our new Super Depot in Wellington signals our 10-year plan for parcel growth allowing us to double our processing capacity – from 95 million parcels today to 190 million parcels per annum.

If you have any questions at all regarding this Courier Post rate increase, please don’t hesitate to contact your account manager or our customer service team at customerservice@parcelport.co.nz
